In 2023, GBfoods Africa, a culinary powerhouse, achieved a significant milestone by commemorating five decades of steadfast dedication to quality and innovation in Africa. The celebration of 50 years reaffirmed GB Foods' status as a culinary trailblazer, assuring patrons of its ongoing commitment to crafting delicious meals and creating joyful memories in homes.
Challenge:
The brand, which has proudly served for fifty years, had achieved many noteworthy milestones; each contributing to their strong presence in Africa. The task was to take advantage of the celebration to showcase Gbfoods’ deep-rooted commitment to the continent, its communities and its sustainable growth.
Concept:
- We organized a 50th anniversary event that brought together industry players, key distributors, government officials, the media and the general public.
- The event highlighted Gbfoods' significant role in creating employment, encouraging growth, and improving lives throughout the continent. We invited the media and important players to join us in honoring the brand's countless achievements in Africa.
- Our media campaign focused on developing articles and thought leadership pieces that communicated the brand's accomplishments.
Communication Channels:
We employed the support of Radio, Print, and Online media to participate in spreading meticulously crafted messages about the brand's accomplishments.
Results:
The campaign received positive tone of voice reaching over 16.3 million audience across radio, print and online media with over 30 earned media coverage.
